The Delta Force Test:
So, there is an opening for a position on Delta Force. After months of selection and screening, three candidates are left: an Air Force PJ, a Ranger, and a Recon Marine. The indoc takes the PJ up to a dorr and says "In this room is a man tied to a chair. We have to know you will follow orders without question. Here's a 1911. Kill the man." The PJ says, "That's ridiculous, I can't kill an unarmed man." The indoc tells him to return to his unit. So then the Ranger comes, and is told the same thing, and is given the same gun. He goes into the room, and comes out 45 minutes later with a tear-streaked face and a sweat-drenched uniform. "I can't do it," he says in a cracking voice. The indoc tells him to return to the Rangers. So then the Recon Marine comes and is told the same thing and given the same weapon. He goes in and the door is heard locking. Then the indoc hears 7 shots firing, then a a screaming, which is ended with a banging, crashing noise. The Recon Marine comes out and says calmly, "Damn gun was loaded with blanks. Had to untie him and beat him to death with the fucking chair."


A Platoon Sergeant and his Platoon Leader are bunking down in the field for
the night. The Platoon Sergeant looks up and says, "When you see all the
stars in the sky, what do you think, sir?"

The LT replies, "Well, I think of how insignificant we really are in the
universe; how small a piece of such a grand design. I can't help but wonder
if what we do truly means anything or makes any difference. Why? What do
you think of, Sergeant?"

"I think somebody stole the damn tent."


Stand by when you hear one of the "Five Most Dangerous Things in the Marine Corps"

1. A Private saying, "I learned this in boot camp..."
2. A Sergeant saying, "Trust me, sir..."
3. A Second Lieutenant saying, "Based on my experience..."
4. A Captain saying, "I was just thinking..."
5. A Gunny chuckling, "Watch this shit..."


The most dangerous Marine in the world is a 2nd LT with a compass.
