III Warsaw Airsoft Rally
The IIIrd Warsaw Airsoft Rally is going to take place from the 10 to 12 June in the Modlin Fortress area.
FORTRESS 2005
The scenario:
Armed incidents between the two neighboring countries Katanga and Gorgonia have been occurring for a longer period of time (vide earlier Warsaw Rallies). Politicians of both countries came to the conclusion that enough is enough, and decided to teach a lesson to the other side of the conflict. International mediation has failed and both countries mobilize their armed forces. Reservists are being called in – YOU!
The ownership of the Naa-Rev river valley has always been a much disputed question between the two countries. Katanga has invaded its eastern part earlier before the Revolution. Now it claims the right to rule the island in the middle of the river, on which many incidents have taken place. The old forts dating back to the times of the colonization now fill up with soldiers again. A race against time begins…

troop landing on the island with rubber boats
- 3 trucks for troop transportation
- 2 military jeeps for patrols
- shooting range (each participant gets 5 shots for free, the rest is up to you and to your wallet) – already confirmed weapons: Glock, Glauberyt (polish SMG), shotguns
- movie projector showing war movies on a big screen
Now we are working on:
- a hanging bridge and rope descent (realization depends on the number of participants)
- the presence of ancient military vehicles
- shows performed by World War II reconstruction groups
- dynamic horse riding
ORGANISATION:
All participants will receive a fixed allocation to one of the two armies:
Battle dress uniforms and equipment:
- Gorgonia (former British colony, still member of the British Commonwealth of Nations). Its armies are mainly equipped with British and American gear.
- Katanga (one of the last remaining People’s Republics, formerly supported by the USSR, now spends almost all of its income from its diamond mines on buying arms from former Eastern Block countries). Its armies are mainly equipped with uniforms and gear from Warsaw Pact armies and (astonishingly) contemporary polish uniforms (it hasn’t been confirmed yet, where such a huge load of them has been acquired from)
Each of the armies will be divided into 20-men fire teams In each team a team leader and his deputy will be assigned Each participants will have the possibility to choose one of the armies and one specific fire team (please take into account the point “Battle dress uniforms and equipment”) Here is the list with of the fire teams Each side will have a different tag allowing a quick identification friend/foe Each of the armies will be housed in a separate camp (tent camps on the main courtyard of the Modlin Fortress) Entrance to the main courtyard of the fortress will be possible after the presentation of the identification tag Entrance to the enemy camp will be “impossible” A common area for both armies will be assigned between the two camps. This area will serve as a canteen and a integration spot Each 20 men fire team will be housed in 3 tents (two 7-men tents and one 6-men tent for the command equipped with an extra locker)

Sleeping – field beds, mattresses, 2 blankets, 1 locker per 2 soldiers

Cost: 150 zloty (36 €)
Discounts (discounts can be added to each other)
5% for veterans of the Tomice 2004 Rally,
5% for veterans of the Igloo 2005 Rally,
5% all participants who transfer the money before the 26 May
5% for each member of an organized group (5 or more people) that pays the money in one transfer
10% for each member of an organized group (10 or more people) that pays the money in one transfer (example: a discount of 25% will receive a person, who took part in the two earlier rallies, paid the money before the 26 of May, in one transfer from a group of 12 people) Please consult me about the discounts before sending the money!
THE COST INCLUDES:
- 2 overnight stays (Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday) in one of the two tent camps
- food:
Saturday: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Sunday: breakfast, lunch
- Guarded car-park
- Transportation from Warsaw for the non-mobile on Friday 9:30 PM
(Meeting point is the Palace of Culture at the Emilia Plater Street) and on Sunday from Modlin to Warsaw.
